Brussels, 13 October 2016 – EPRUMA and the Slovak Presidency of the EU held a workshop today to create a common understanding on the responsible use of veterinary medicines in the EU. The event highlighted the need to increase the exchange of information and dialogue on best practices between public authorities and the private sector across the EU. Read more:

Why a “Harvest Festival”?
Like during “Neighbours Day”, at “Harvest Festival” some farmers #agridemain decided to invite citizens to come to their farm and talk to farmers. The aim is to demonstrate to the public the modernity of this profession and how farmers are open for dialogue with the world around them. Watch the video (in French only):
Spend time with Christophe, and it’s clear to see how seriously he takes innovation in farming. Perhaps the facet of agricultural innovation least understood by the general public is the extent to which new farming practices are entirely consistent with protecting the environment. This can seem counter intuitive, with the mental model people have of historic farming being environmentally friendly, and modern farming less so.
